The musical review "Castello D'autore"
Castello d'Autore is back again this summer, the music festival at the Rocca Pisana in Scarlino with three exceptional evenings: Saturday 23 July at 9.30 pm, Frida Bollani Magoni, piano and voiceTuesday 26 July at 9.30 pm, Francesco Bianconi and Wednesday 3 August at 9.30 pm, ORT string and wind ensemble with Alessandro Riccio.
The review begins with a young but already established artist, Frida Bollani Magoni. Daughter of two beloved musicians: Petra Magoni and Stefano Bollani, Frida will propose a series of original songs and new arrangements of international hits, accompanying herself with the piano. The sounds he recreates are the result of his research and passion for music, of a life almost in symbiosis with the notes he breathed from his young age and elaborated in an absolutely personal way.
It continues on Tuesday 26 July, at 9.30 pm with Francesco Bianconi, leader of the Baustelle since 1997, one of the most popular songwriters and authors on the Italian scene. Bianconi's artistic flair and authorial skills are also noted in the pieces that the composer has written for other artists (Paola Turci, Irene Grandi, Noemi). In October 2020 Francesco Bianconi released his first solo album, "Forever", and in 2021 he returned to the studio to make "Forever in Technicolor". He will go up on the stage of the Pisan fortress of Scarlino accompanied by five musicians, alternating famous pieces with unpublished pieces.
The conclusion of the review is scheduled for Wednesday 3 August, as is now customary, with the string and wind ensemble of the ORT, together with Alessandro Riccio, an actor with whom the ensemble has already collaborated: after "I tell you about Don Giovanni", Ort and Riccio once again try their hand at the world of opera, proposing the most beautiful pages of Giuseppe Verdi's production. Riccio will play the maestro Verdi, in a crisis of inspiration and through his obstinate search for perfection, offering an unprecedented point of view on a much loved composer.
The exhibition is organized by the Maremma Arte a.p.s association
